Temporary Care Assistant

Agency workers are sought to join Esperi Hoivakoti Lounatuuli in Mikkeli for flexible short-term shifts under a standard framework. The role includes basic care, assisting with residents, outdoor activities, monitoring well-being, and performing care procedures, with responsibilities shared within the team. Induction is provided to new temp staff, and on-call support from colleagues is available. Wages follow the private social services sector collective agreement; base pay for a Lähihoitaja depends on experience and is between 14.82–16.03 €/hour (pay grade G20C). Evening and shift premiums may apply. The position offers flexible hours via a mobile scheduling app, with a run-of-contract arrangement not binding to a set hourly quantity. Applicants should have a suitable nursing qualification, hygienist certificate, and Finnish language proficiency; driver’s license and medical prescriptions are beneficial.
