Welcome as a practical nurse to the Meilahti radiology emergency department! HUS Diagnostics Center is Finland's leading provider of clinical laboratory and imaging services. Our primary area of operation is the specialized medical care of the HUS group and the primary healthcare of the wellbeing services counties belonging to HUS. We are also responsible for the laboratory and imaging operations of the Kymenlaakso and South Karelia wellbeing services counties. We operate in eight medical specialties. Nationally, we are responsible for several examinations requiring special expertise, as well as research and teaching belonging to the university hospital. Diagnostic examinations play a central role in confirming or ruling out diseases, as part of treatment, and in treatment monitoring and screening. Approximately 3,300 laboratory and imaging experts work at HUS Diagnostics Center across over 140 locations. We offer you a versatile job description within the radiology responsibility area. As a practical nurse, the work is primarily located in the ultrasound unit of the Meilahti radiology emergency department. Work is performed in two shifts and on weekends. Additionally, we require readiness to work elsewhere in the radiology areas of Meilahti and Siltasairaala. You will receive orientation for your duties. The position-specific salary for a practical nurse is 2,716.25 euros per month, with a possible experience supplement. The Diagnostics Center also utilizes performance-based pay, which allows for increasing monthly earnings. Start date is September 1, 2026, or by agreement.
