Join a professional and evolving organization where you can utilize your technical expertise and leadership skills. **What does the role involve?** As the Assembly Supervisor, you will be responsible for the daily management of the Jyväskylä assembly team (12-15 people), detailed scheduling of work, quality assurance, and continuous improvement of production, including deviation processes. You are responsible for your team's performance and development, ensuring that set production targets are achieved efficiently and safely. We are looking for a supervisor who can manage the big picture and support their team to succeed in their work. Your duties also include planning the orientation of new employees and participating in continuous development work to improve production processes. Assembly work is performed in shifts, which requires shift work and the ability to organize work between different shifts. **What are your key areas of responsibility?** - Operational management and supervisory duties of the assembly team in a shift-work environment - Detailed production planning, scheduling, and resourcing in cooperation with production planning - Ensuring quality at different stages of production - Ensuring safe working methods and developing occupational safety - Problem solving and management of deviations in production - Participating in production development projects and implementing new operating methods - Developing and coaching the multi-skilling of team members - Cooperation with other departments, such as maintenance, design, and quality **What do we expect from you?** - Several years of experience in an industrial production environment, particularly in assembly or similar technical roles - Strong technical background and ability to read technical drawings - experience working with gearboxes or other mechanical power transmission devices is an advantage - Previous experience in supervisory roles and evidence of successful team leadership - Ability to lead and motivate a team toward common goals - Good organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure - Flexibility and the ability to work in shifts - Fluent skills in Finnish and English - Appropriate technical education (e.g., engineer) - A proactive and development-oriented attitude **What do we offer you?** We offer a versatile and responsible role in the production team of the world's leading industrial gearbox manufacturer.
