Application Specialist

Location: San Luis Potosi, San Luis Potosi, MX Remote: We are seeking a skilled and motivated fully bilingual Application Specialist to join our IT team. Objective: Promote the business transformation using well oriented solutions aligned with the OTK targets. Acting as vital bridge between applications and end users, ensuring Operations and SCM applications run smoothly, securely and efficiently. To design, build, and maintain software applications that streamline operational processes, making them more efficient, accurate, and scalable. Requirements: (Advanced English oral and written) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar Strong experience in RPG / RPG IV / RPGLE (AS400 / IBM i / iSeries) JD Edwards advanced knowledge Advanced SQL skills on DB2 for i Data modeling and file structures (physical/logical files) Optimization of batch jobs and processes Source control Proficiency in writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code. Strong debugging, testing and problem-solving skills. Java programming iSeries – SAP data interchange Project management Microsoft SQL server Responsibilities: Understand Business Operations Collaborate with cross-functional teams on requirements Develop, Test and Maintain software applications Debug and resolve defects Improve Efficiency & Productivity Data Management & Reporting System Integration Physical requirements: Repetitive motions for computer equipment use. Ability to frequently sit, stand, talk, and hear for long periods of time. Frequently use hand to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls. Frequently reach with hands and arms. Walking, Bending, stooping, or climbing stairs. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 lbs. individually. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Salary range: 50,180-62,730 pesos.
