WE ARE NOW LOOKING FOR NEW ON-CALL WORKERS FOR HOME SERVICES FOR FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN IN THE KANTA-HÄME REGION! There is a growing demand for preventive open services aimed at families with children. Humana Avopalvelut provides open care services in accordance with the Social Welfare Act and the Child Welfare Act. Open services support and promote the well-being of children, young people, and families in their everyday environments. At Humana, ethical practices are extremely important to us, and our vision is: everyone has the right to a good life. What kind of work awaits you? We are seeking home service instructors for families with children for on-call work in Kanta-Häme. The work is hourly, and tasks are available based on needs and demand. Work begins according to the agreement and orders. Home service visits to families are often at least 2 hours long, but can be longer depending on the client family and the need. We work flexibly according to customer needs at all times of the day and, if necessary, every day of the week. As a home service instructor for families with children, you provide concrete support for the family's everyday life. In practice, this may mean, for example, supporting parents in childcare and light home care tasks. The need for help may arise due to a draining situation for the family, such as caring for twins, a family member's illness, or general exhaustion. The work is independent and every visit can be different – you will operate alongside and support the everyday lives of different families. Your support will be provided by the experienced team leader Isla. Why seize this opportunity? Salary The salary for the position is 14.82-16.03 €/h depending on your previous relevant experience (salary class G20C). Compensation for shift work is paid according to the Private Social Services Sector TES. What kind of employee are we looking for to strengthen the expertise of our team? We expect a basic degree in the social or health sector or other suitable training (e.g., practical nurse, basic care nurse, home care worker, childcare worker, child instructor). We value previous experience working with children, young people, or families. You are skilled at interacting with both clients and other professionals, and you have the courage and enthusiasm to enter new situations and raise issues when necessary, and you notice the good in everyone. Due to the independent nature of the work, success in the position also requires a responsible, flexible, and self-directed approach as well as an open attitude. Additionally, you commit to Humana's shared values: commitment, responsibility, as well as encounter and joy. The position requires being 18 years of age and sufficient proficiency in the Finnish language. Experience in family services or disability services is considered an advantage. Our clients are located across Kanta-Häme, so a driver's license and the possibility to use your own car are necessary. Humana's own cars are also available for client work. Please note that the person selected for the position must present a criminal record extract required for those working with children, in accordance with Section 6, Paragraph 2 of the Criminal Records Act (770/1993).
