Personal Assistant

The assistant must have solid experience working as a personal assistant, as I am severely disabled and require help with all daily activities, including bathroom functions. The work involves lifting, and I have a ceiling hoist. The assistant must be able to move and assist me outside the home and during leisure activities. My cerebral palsy does not affect my intelligence. I am seeking an assistant, not a caregiver, to enable me to live independently in my own home. Due to my visual impairment, I need reading assistance. I have a cat in my household, so please do not be allergic. I expect a positive attitude and a sense of humor from the assistant. Adherence to agreed schedules and reliability are essential. Please do not smoke. Proficiency in spoken and written Finnish is necessary. Basic computer skills are also essential, as the computer is an important aid for me. The work is on weekdays from 8:00 to 16:00 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Permanent day shifts [Tue, Wed, Thu] start from September. The workplace is located in Epilä (33270). It is also possible to work as a substitute in my relief ring, so if you are interested in that role as well, please mention it in your application. I am a member of the Heta union.
