About the role

Position Overview: We’re looking for a Principal Data Analyst to join our Analytics team. In this senior role, you’ll be a key partner to our game teams, shaping product strategy and driving impactful data-driven decisions that improve our games, boost player engagement, and fuel business growth. You’ll combine deep quantitative analysis, business acumen, and technical expertise to uncover insights that matter. As a Principal, you’ll also help elevate analytics standards across the company, mentor analysts, and champion a culture of data-informed decision-making. What You'll do: Help Shape the Game Strategy: Be a part of the development of data-driven strategies for top games, influencing product roadmaps, features, and monetization. Player & Product Insights: Partner with cross-functional teams to analyze player behavior, economy trends, and product performance. Experimentation & Modeling: Design A/B tests and build predictive models (e.g., churn, LTV, segmentation) to assess and forecast outcomes. Leadership & Communication: Mentor analysts and present insights clearly to senior leadership through compelling storytelling and dashboards. Data Culture & Infrastructure: Collaborate on improving data tools and pipelines while promoting data literacy and experimentation best practices. What You Bring: Experience in analytics or data science roles, ideally in gaming, mobile apps, or digital products. Strong business sense and product intuition; you understand how to prioritize what matters most. Solid experience with A/B testing, causal inference, and experimentation design. Strong background in applied statistics; experience with Bayesian methods is a plus. Expert proficiency in SQL and Python for data exploration and analysis. Excellent communication skills, with experience influencing senior stakeholders. Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences. Demonstrated experience working with visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, or similar. Experience mentoring or leading other analysts is a big plus.
