The education services of the City of Alajärvi are seeking applications for a fixed-term position as an Early Childhood Education Childcare Worker for the period 9.9.2026- 10.5.2027. The work takes place at Ullanlinna kindergarten and the Kastehelmet remote unit. The eligibility requirement for the childcare worker position is a vocational qualification in education and guidance, a vocational qualification in social and health care, or another equivalent applicable degree in accordance with Section 28 of the Early Childhood Education Act 540/2018, which includes or has been supplemented by sufficiently extensive modules on childcare, education, and teaching. Salary and working hours are determined according to KVTES. Our workplace is smoke-free. We apply a 3-month probationary period.
