Laundry Worker

Tunturi-Lapin Pesula is looking for **employees for the upcoming winter season** for various laundry tasks. We can hire employees for roles such as: - laundry worker - washer - laundry worker–driver. The scope of the role can be formed based on the selected person's skills, experience, and interests. The work may focus on textile processing, operating washing machines, or a combination of laundry work and transport. Job Description Laundry worker duties may include: - sorting textiles - ironing linens - folding towels and other textiles - inspecting and packing clean textiles - other daily laundry tasks. Washer duties include operating washing machines and dryers, selecting wash programs, and monitoring the washing process. The work requires diligence, responsibility, and the ability to manage several simultaneous work stages. In the laundry worker–driver role, the workday includes transporting and collecting customer deliveries in the Tunturi-Lappi area in addition to laundry work. Previous experience in laundry work, production work, transport tasks, the cleaning sector, or other similar roles is considered an advantage, but is not essential. Selected persons will be provided with an orientation for the tasks. The laundry worker–driver role requires a valid **C-class driver's license and professional competence for truck drivers**, as well as confident driving skills in winter conditions. Working hours are usually between 6:00 and 18:00. Shifts are determined by the laundry's workload, and hours may vary during the season. Work may also be available on weekends.
