The Project Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of technology and business transformation projects, ensuring successful execution from initiation through to implementation and post-go-live stabilisation. The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, governance, planning, and execution capabilities to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards. The Project Manager will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, developers, vendors, and operational teams to ensure successful project outcomes and business value realisation. Key Responsibilities Project Delivery & Ownership - Lead the full project lifecycle from initiation through to deployment and closure. - Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables. - Manage project scope, timelines, dependencies, and budgets. - Ensure successful delivery of technology projects aligned to business objectives. - Coordinate internal teams and third-party suppliers to achieve delivery targets. Governance & Controls - Establish and maintain project governance frameworks. - Manage RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies). - Facilitate project steering committees and governance forums. - Ensure adherence to project delivery methodologies and organisational standards. - Drive effective change control processes. Stakeholder Management - Build strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders. - Provide regular project status updates and executive reporting. - Manage stakeholder expectations and secure timely decisions. - Escalate risks and issues appropriately. Financial Management - Track budgets, actual spend, forecasts, and resource utilisation. - Identify variances and implement corrective actions. - Ensure projects remain within approved financial tolerances. Resource & Vendor Management - Coordinate resource planning across multiple teams. - Manage third-party vendors and implementation partners. - Monitor supplier performance against contractual obligations. Risk & Issue Management - Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans. - Resolve project blockers and escalate where required. - Ensure proactive management of project dependencies. Change & Adoption - Work with Change Managers and business leads to support user adoption. - Ensure training, communications, and readiness activities are completed. - Support transition into business-as-usual operations. Essential Skills & Experience Experience - Proven experience delivering medium-to-large IT projects. - Experience managing cross-functional project teams. - Strong track record in delivering software, infrastructure, cloud, ERP, CRM, or digital transformation initiatives. - Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery environments. - Experience managing third-party suppliers and implementation partners. Technical Knowledge - Project lifecycle management. - Risk and issue management. - Budget and financial tracking. - Resource planning and forecasting. - Change control and governance processes. Qualifications - Minimum 8 years in project management with strong governance and delivery discipline. - Knowledge of methodologies: PRINCE2, Agile/Hybrid; certifications desirable (PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, SAFe). - PMP (Project Management Professional) - Expertise in financial oversight, resource planning, and project reporting tools (Power BI, JIRA, THOR). - Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills. - Certifications desirable: PRINCE2 Practitioner, MSP, SAFe. - Degree in Business, Information Technology, or related discipline
