About the Role LG Electronics is Qt Group's single largest global account. The partnership spans two major business areas: LG Media Solution Business Unit (MS BU), which licenses Qt's IP as a foundational component of the webOS smart TV platform and the webOS White-Label Ecosystem (WEE) program serving global Tier-2 TV OEM partners; and LG Vehicle Solutions (VS BU), which uses Qt for automotive cluster and in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) software deployed in vehicles produced by Hyundai and other OEMs. We are seeking an Account Director dedicated exclusively to the LG Electronics account. The primary mandate is to deepen and reinforce the Qt–LG strategic partnership — with particular focus on LG MS BU and the webOS TV business — and to secure the long-term renewal contract of all webOS business. This is a relationship-first, executive-engagement role: success is measured by the quality and durability of the relationships you build within LG, and by the commercial outcomes you enable for both organizations. You will serve as the primary face of Qt Group to LG Electronics senior management, working in close collaboration with Qt's regional sales, legal, and product teams across APAC and globally. What You’ll Do 1. Executive Relationship Management - Serve as Qt Group’s dedicated senior relationship owner for LG Electronics, with primary focus on LG MS BU (webOS / TV business) management and executive leadership - Build and sustain trusted relationships at Division Head, VP, and C-suite level across LG MS BU, LG VS, and relevant LG Group affiliates - Facilitate and coordinate regular executive-to-executive engagement between Qt Group senior leadership and LG Electronics decision-makers - Act as a trusted bridge — bringing deep institutional understanding of LG’s organizational dynamics, business priorities, and platform strategy into Qt’s commercial planning 2. Partnership Development & Contract Renewal - Lead the relationship groundwork and commercial strategy for the renewal of the LG MS BU webOS TV runtime license agreement. - Identify and articulate the long-term strategic value of the Qt–LG partnership to LG’s engineering division, business division, and executive stakeholders - Work with Qt’s commercial and product teams to develop compelling partnership proposals aligned with LG’s evolving platform and business roadmap - Support senior commercial discussions, renewal negotiations, and executive briefings on behalf of Qt Group 3. Business Development - Identify and develop incremental business opportunities within LG Electronics divisions beyond current engagements (e.g., LG VS automotive IVI and cluster, webOS ACP expansion, LG Innotek, LG Magna, and other LG Group affiliates) - Provide timely market intelligence on LG’s technology strategy, platform decisions, and competitive landscape to Qt’s regional and global leadership - Coordinate with Qt’s pre-sales, technical, and product teams to address LG’s engineering requirements and evaluation needs What You Bring to the Table - Significant professional experience within LG Electronics, with direct exposure to LG MS BU (Media Solution BU / webOS / TV business) — former LG management strongly preferred - Extensive personal network at senior management level (Department Head and above) within LG Electronics MS BU, with demonstrable ability to arrange and facilitate meetings with key decision-makers - Deep understanding of LG Electronics’ organizational structure, internal decision-making processes, and corporate culture - 15+ years of professional experience in the consumer electronics, smart TV platform, or software industry - Demonstrated track record of managing or influencing complex, long-cycle commercial relationships or platform technology partnerships at large Korean corporations - Native-level Korean; business-level English for collaboration with Qt’s global and APAC teams Bonus Points For… - Prior experience or professional relationships within LG VS (automotive), LG Innotek, or other LG Group affiliates - Familiarity with software platform licensing, IP licensing models, or technology partnership structures (runtime royalties, OEM licensing, lump-sum agreements) - Understanding of the smart TV platform ecosystem: webOS, Tizen, Google TV / Android TV, and competing platform strategies - Experience navigating open source vs. commercial software trade-offs within a large product organization Are You Our Next Qtie? Requirements
- Significant professional experience within LG Electronics, specifically LG MS BU (webOS / TV business)

- 15+ years of professional experience in consumer electronics, smart TV platforms, or the software industry
