Your role You will work as a practical nurse with a resident-centered approach, supporting the functional capacity of residents at the Villa Piipari unit located in the Runosmäki district. Your work includes basic and medication care according to the resident's care plan, assessment of functional capacity and care needs, and the implementation of cultural and leisure activities. You will systematically utilize the RAI instrument to assess the client's functional capacity and use RAI results in care planning and evaluation. High-quality, up-to-date daily documentation is a central part of your work. You will operate in a self-directed manner, but never alone; you will receive the support of the work community alongside your responsibilities. Your duties include guiding students and daily cooperation with next of kin. Resident and occupational safety are of paramount importance to us, and technological solutions as well as ergonomic aids are utilized in the work. You respect the resident's right to self-determination and the right to a good end-of-life experience. The workplace is located at Varusmestarintie 14, 20360 Turku, and is easily accessible by public transport. What we expect from you We expect strong RAI expertise and the ability to utilize it in operational planning and evaluation, as well as up-to-date daily documentation skills. You manage your area of responsibility, act in a solution-oriented manner, and are motivated to develop your skills as a nursing professional. The position requires an understanding of the laws and regulations affecting operations and the ability to apply them in practical work. Additionally, you must master the principles of self-monitoring to ensure service quality and client safety. The work requires good Finnish language skills. Valid LOVe medication permit, experience in caring for people with dementia and functional capacity-supporting work, as well as OMNI360 and RAI expertise and good IT skills are considered an advantage. The eligibility requirement for the position is a vocational qualification in social and health care (practical nurse) or an earlier school-level degree in the field, as well as valid registration in the JulkiTerhikki and JulkiSuosikki registers.
