Café Worker

We are looking for a customer-oriented café worker! Our client is a cozy café in a central location in Turku that has served its customers for a long time. The café's diverse selection serves even the most demanding clientele. The café also has an A-license. In addition to hot and cold drinks, daily baked coffee breads, filled rolls, and fresh-from-the-oven pies are available. Job description: The tasks are diverse and varied café-restaurant duties: preparation of savory & sweet products, customer service, kitchen work, cashier, serving, and maintaining general cleanliness. It is important that all tasks are handled with a positive and brisk attitude, even in the midst of a rush. There are approximately 2-3 shifts per week between 8:00 and 19:00, typically lasting 5-6 hours. The work starts by the beginning of September at the latest and is long-term, lasting until the end of May 2027. Expectations: We are looking for a proactive café worker who gets along easily with different types of customers. Most importantly, you can do your work with a smile even on a busy day and enjoy kitchen work and product preparation. We require a responsible work ethic, good cooperation skills, and experience working in a café or restaurant. A serving permit (anniskelupassi) is also considered an advantage. We require the applicant to have a hygiene passport, be of legal age, and have fluent Finnish language skills. We offer: An interesting & diverse café job. The remuneration for the position is according to the collective agreement for tourism, restaurant, and leisure services between 13.32-14.62/h, considering work experience and education.
