Job Details

Responsibilities

Design data architecture for data collection, processing, integration and sharing
Create architectural concepts and models for data platforms, data warehouses, Data Lake and analytics solutions
Define data flows and design data integration and processing pipelines
Collaborate with Data Engineering, Data Science, DevOps and business analysts on data solutions
Develop architectural documentation, system models and technical diagrams
Select technologies and define architectural standards for data solutions
Support project teams in performance, scalability, security and data quality
Participate in agile projects
Lead workshops and client consultations on data architecture and Big Data
Present architectural concepts and recommended technical solutions to stakeholders
Collaborate with client to analyze requirements and define data platform directions

Requirements

Minimum 8 years of experience in data architecture/data modeling/data solutions
Experience as a Data Architect on IT projects
Experience designing architectures for large scalable systems
Experience in data warehouses, Data Lake or analytics platforms
Experience in data integration from multiple sources and data migrations
Knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM)
Strong data modeling skills (ERD, UML)
Strong relational DB and SQL knowledge
Knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra)
Knowledge of data architectures (DWH, Data Lake, Data Mesh, Data Fabric)
ETL/ELT processes knowledge
Data Governance, Data Quality, Metadata Management and data security knowledge
Big Data technologies knowledge (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik)
Experience with data modeling tools (ERwin, PowerDesigner) and Enterprise Architect
Experience with enterprise relational DBs (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server)
Experience with ETL/ELT tools
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP)
Higher technical education
At least one data/architecture/cloud certificate (e.g., CDMP, TOGAF, Azure, AWS, GCP)
