Electrician

Do you want to work in engine production? We are looking for motivated and eager-to-learn electricians for Wärtsilä's Vaasa plant. The work involves electrical installation of ship and power plant engines using modern methods in a clean working environment. You will have the opportunity to engage in varied and challenging electrical installation tasks that allow you to develop your skills within a professional work community. As an applicant, you have a vocational qualification as an electrician or automation installer, as well as previous experience in electrical or automation installation tasks. Fluent ability to read drawings is important for job performance. Additionally, we expect a willingness to work in shifts. As an applicant, you understand the importance of your work as part of a team, and occupational safety and high-quality execution are part of your working style. Furthermore, we primarily require a motivated and energetic attitude! The working language in production is Finnish; English language skills are considered an advantage. The employment contract is made with Barona Teollisuus Oy and is initially fixed-term. Selected candidates will undergo a security clearance (Security Clearance Act 726/2014) and a health check, which includes a drug test. Passing these checks is a prerequisite for employment.
