About the role

Electrical Power Engineer role overseeing the maintenance and development of the internal electrical power system to ensure safe, reliable and future-ready energy supply. The position involves strategic and operational work, close collaboration with production, maintenance, project teams and external parties such as network owners, consultants and contractors. The engineer serves as a technical specialist contributing to daily operations, troubleshooting, investments, projects and continuous improvement. Responsibilities include technical management of substations, transformers and protection systems; ensuring high reliability and safety; participating in or leading projects for new, refurbishments and reinvestments; performing or ordering network analyses and electrical calculations; supporting operations during disturbances and root-cause analyses; assisting with risk assessments, work preparations and occupational safety issues related to electrical power; coordinating maintenance efforts and ensuring proper handling in maintenance systems; working on standardisation, digitisation and continuous improvements in electrical power and energy supply; responsible for NetControl and participating in inspections of electrical installations, including drone-assisted inspections; participating in readiness for unplanned disturbances. Requirements include a university or civil engineer degree in electrical power engineering or equivalent experience; several years of experience with electrical power installations; proficiency in Swedish and English; structured, responsible, and safety-conscious; able to make technical decisions and contribute to improvements that strengthen reliability, quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Degree in electrical power engineering (civil or university) or equivalent experience
  • Several years of experience with electrical power installations
  • Proficiency in Swedish and English
  • Strong analytical and practical problem-solving skills
  • Structured, responsible, safety-conscious
