Control Engineer

We are looking for a Controls Engineer to join a project delivery team supporting Food & Beverage manufacturing clients across the Netherlands. This role combines hybrid-based control system development and programming with on-site commissioning and start-up activities. You will be involved throughout the full project lifecycle, from design and software development through to testing, commissioning, and customer handover. Key Responsibilities Develop and modify PLC, SCADA, HMI, and DCS applications. Produce functional design specifications and technical documentation. Execute FAT, SAT, commissioning, and start-up activities. Support project delivery from design through to operational handover. Work closely with process, electrical, and operations teams. Requirements Proven experience as a Controls, Automation, or Process Control Engineer. Strong DCS experience is essential (Siemens PCS 7 is desirable) Experience delivering projects within food & beverage or other process manufacturing environments. Hands-on commissioning and start-up experience. Knowledge of industrial networks Willingness to travel during commissioning phases.
