We are seeking two social workers for family social work in positions opening on 1.10.26. The work is primarily located in the Tikkurila office, but the task can be performed flexibly also in Kerava and Myyrmäki. Additionally, we offer the possibility of remote work, as agreed and according to the nature of the work. The task of a social worker in family social work is to implement planned social work and organize services for children needing special support. As a social worker, you act as the child's responsible worker and are responsible for coordinating and harmonizing support measures according to the child's needs. The work includes independent work, network work, pair work with the team's special social instructors and social instructors, as well as close cooperation with service providers. The work is mobile in nature and meetings often take place as home visits or meetings also at the offices of cooperation partners. Our work is supported by good structures, a systemic approach, work supervision, a present leading social worker, and of course, competent colleagues. The team has a family therapist. Urgent child protection emergency work is centralized to the child protection office-hour emergency service. We require experience in social work with families, good interaction and cooperation skills, and a positive attitude toward development. We expect you to operate naturally as part of a team and actively participate in collective work. Knowledge of the Apotti system and training in systemic approach are considered an advantage. The work involves a lot of documentation, so good written skills are important. In family social work, there are two regional teams with a total of 2 social instructors, 7 special social instructors, and 17 social workers, as well as 2 leading social workers. In the child family social work area, in addition to family social work, there are regional service need assessment teams. In total, about 70 employees work in the functional area. Position-specific salary: 4317.74 eur/month, plus possible addition based on previous work experience.
