Keski-Uudenmaan wellbeing services county is seeking two Chief Physicians: one for outpatient services and one for hospital services. In this role, you are responsible for the operational activities of the units, including the management of service production and various administrative tasks. You will act as the supervisor for physicians in your area, ensuring their well-being and professional competence. Key focus areas include the continuous improvement of services and staff well-being, supported by service chain management and extensive cooperation across different services. Responsibilities include planning finances and personnel resources in collaboration with the service manager. You will be part of the result area's management team alongside other chief physicians and nursing supervisors. The outpatient services role focuses on the Järvenpää social and health center and the development of service chains for the working-age population. The hospital services role covers the home hospital, palliative center, and medical support for home care, geriatric clinics, and discharge/assessment units, as well as overseeing medical operations for elderly housing services provided by external partners. Applicants must be licensed physicians in Finland. For outpatient services, a specialization in general medicine or another suitable specialty is required. For hospital services, a specialization in geriatrics, general medicine, or another suitable specialty is required. Previous management training and experience in leading primary healthcare services are highly valued. The employer supports further education and participation in research through its own Research, Development, and Innovation unit.
