Site Engineer

Are you passionate about demanding infrastructure projects and responsible execution? We are looking for a Site Engineer to strengthen our ground and civil engineering unit in the Tampere region. Our ground and civil engineering unit implements comprehensive ground and concrete construction solutions from design to execution. Our special expertise includes demanding ground and concrete works for industrial, commercial, residential, and landfill sites. Our strengths are quality execution, strong BIM expertise, and formwork technical skills. We also operate in international projects, such as large-scale data center projects, of which we have already completed over 60. Technically challenging projects and unique sites are our specialty. Where is your expertise needed? As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical design, coordination, and progress monitoring of construction projects. You will handle project documentation, monitor schedules and costs, and manage resources. You will participate in HSE tasks and ensure quality and safety implementation together with the site, subcontractors, and other stakeholders. The role emphasizes strong technical expertise, a systematic approach to work, and a desire to develop operating methods and streamline overall project processes. What ensures your success in this role? - At least 3 years of work experience in demanding construction projects - Experience in cost management for various projects - Education as a construction foreman, construction engineer, or Master of Science in Technology. Other relevant studies are an advantage. - Excellent interaction and communication skills in Finnish. Fluent English is a plus, as it is a requirement for some of our projects. - Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle pressure in changing situations - Commitment to quality, safe, and responsible construction - Desire to develop as a professional in the field - Willingness to travel to various sites Additionally, valid and suitable FISE certifications are considered an advantage.
