This job is for you if you are looking for an independent role with responsibility, where every shift is different and your expertise is truly needed. As a maintenance on-call technician, you are the person who takes control when a problem arises in a property; something breaks, water leaks from the wrong place, or a resident needs urgent help. Not all situations are urgent, but responsibility is always present, which makes the work meaningful. We are seeking a maintenance on-call technician for our client, Suomen Huoltopäivystys, through direct recruitment for a permanent full-time position in the Helsinki metropolitan area. Job Description As a maintenance on-call technician, you will serve housing companies and their residents in the Helsinki metropolitan area in various maintenance and emergency situations. Some situations are resolved over the phone, while others require visiting the site in person. Work includes, among other things: - investigating acute building technical malfunctions - advising and guiding residents - cooperating with authorities when necessary - independent situational assessment and decision-making The position is suitable for a reliable person who can work calmly even in unexpected situations and take responsibility independently. Working Hours - On-call time weekdays 15:00–08:00 and 24 hours on weekends and public holidays - On-call duty is implemented every other week: an on-call week is followed by a week of rest - Additionally, an 8-week period includes one on-call shift from Thursday to Monday during the rest period - On-call duties can be performed from home The selected person will enter into an employment contract directly with Suomen Huoltopäivystys.
