Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician for our client, primarily based in Jyväskylä, but as the role requires travel, other locations are also possible. TruTekniikka Oy sells and services TRUMPF metalworking machines and those of their partners. They provide cost-effective and high-quality solutions for various production stages. Their extensive range includes 2D and 3D laser cutting machines, laser and conventional welding systems, tube lasers, punching machines, laser punching machines, bending machines, deburring machines, straightening machines, and tube bending machines. Job Description In this role, you will work with TRUMPF sheet metal working machines, performing various maintenance, repair, and installation tasks. Your primary responsibility will be to travel across Finland providing maintenance and repair services to customers. As you develop in the role, you will handle more demanding repairs and conduct system commissioning training for customers. You will receive comprehensive induction and initially work with an experienced colleague. After the induction, you will participate in a month-long training period in Germany, near Stuttgart. Requirements Our ideal candidate has a relevant higher education degree (mechanical, electrical, or automation engineering). Additionally, we hope you have some previous experience in similar roles (e.g., maintenance) and experience with mobile/traveling work. You have good communication skills, are flexible, and are a self-starter. You have fluent written and spoken skills in both Finnish and English. The person we are looking for has: * Relevant higher education (mechanical, electrical, or automation engineering) / knowledge of electrical engineering is most important * At least one year of work experience in similar roles (maintenance tasks are also an advantage) * Willingness and interest in traveling for work * Knowledge of network settings and bus technologies * Fluent Finnish and English language skills German language skills are also considered an advantage.
