Practical Nurse

We are seeking a Practical Nurse for the Ostrobothnia wellbeing services county, with the initial placement in home care in Uusikaarlepyy, northern area 5, Oravainen team. As a practical nurse in home care, you will work in clients' homes supporting their wellbeing, functional capacity, and ability to live safely in their own homes. Your duties include, among others: Basic care for clients and assistance with daily activities. Medication administration in accordance with expertise and valid permits. Maintaining and promoting the client's functional capacity. Documentation and monitoring of care. Collaboration with clients, relatives, and a multidisciplinary team. We expect from you: A degree as a practical nurse. Genuine interest in working with people. Ability to work independently and take responsibility. Good interaction and cooperation skills. Eligibility requirement: Degree as a practical nurse or a degree in accordance with the Decree on Healthcare Professionals (564/1994) or the Government Decree on Social Care Professionals (153/2016). Satisfactory oral and written skills in both national languages of the country. Those with a practical nurse's degree are required to be registered in both professional registers of the License and Supervision Authority, Terhikki and Suosikki. Additionally, the selected candidate must have valid vaccination protection in accordance with Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act (1227/2016) and a criminal record extract as mentioned in Section 6, subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act. A probationary period applies.
