Industrial Electrician for Quant's site in Piteå We are looking for a driven and technically skilled industrial electrician who wants to take a broad and independent role in our maintenance team at Hitachi in Piteå. This is a position for you who enjoy being close to the operation, like qualified troubleshooting and want to work with electricity, control and improvement work in a production environment. Quant in Piteå is growing, and today we have 11 employees in the maintenance team with different specialist competencies. Now we are looking for you who want to contribute with your experience and in the long run take overall responsibility for electrical maintenance on site. Your role as an industrial electrician In the role of industrial electrician with us, you have an important function in the daily maintenance work on site. You are responsible for driving and developing the electrical maintenance in close cooperation with the customer, production and colleagues within maintenance. The role is suitable for you who have broad electrical competence and also have an understanding of control systems and automation in an industrial environment. The focus is on practical troubleshooting, analysis and improvement work in the plant – not on pure programming. You are part of a maintenance group consisting of maintenance technicians, maintenance engineers and electricians, where cooperation and problem solving are a central part of everyday life. Tasks - Perform both acute and preventive maintenance to ensure high operational reliability - Be responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance and development of electrical equipment and electrical systems at the plant - Troubleshoot and analyze control systems and PLC-related functions in interaction with machine and process - Participate in improvement work and contribute to increased operational reliability, availability and optimization of machines - Collaborate with production, production technology and the maintenance group to minimize downtime - The work is scheduled for daytime, shift work may occur Qualifications - Upper secondary education in electricity/automation or equivalent documented experience - Experience of troubleshooting in industrial electrical installations, automated production equipment and controlled machines - Experience of practical troubleshooting in a production environment, close to machine and process - Good understanding of PLC and control systems and ability to troubleshoot in industrial automation environments - Ability to read, interpret and troubleshoot using electrical diagrams and technical documentation - Good problem-solving ability and a structured way of working - Good computer skills We are looking for someone who has relevant education and/or experience from producing activities within maintenance, electricity or automation. You are used to working with troubleshooting in both modern and older equipment and have a good understanding of electrical equipment, electrical diagrams and technical documentation. Experience as an industrial electrician or in a similar broad role within industrial maintenance is a merit.
