Nurse

We are seeking a nurse for the wellbeing services county of Ostrobothnia; the initial placement is the psychosocial rehabilitation and service guidance unit in Vaasa. The unit provides home-based services based on the Social Welfare Act for people undergoing mental health and substance abuse rehabilitation. The nurse works in a multidisciplinary team that also includes social care professionals. Your duties include supporting and guiding clients within the service according to the client plan, and assessing the functional capacity and rehabilitation progress of clients in cooperation with the client, their social worker, the party responsible for the client's care, and other partners. As a healthcare professional, your work also includes supporting clients in medication therapy. The work is mobile and takes place in the client's home and operating environment. The work is primarily daytime (Mon-Fri). Good cooperation and interaction skills and the ability to react quickly to changing situations are emphasized in the work. Good pressure and stress tolerance, creativity, solution-orientation, and the ability for self-direction are beneficial in performing the task. We value previous work experience working with people undergoing mental health and substance abuse rehabilitation. Performing the work may in some situations require the use of a private car. Those invited to the interview must bring original degree and work certificates. Eligibility requirement: Authorized nurse as defined in the Act on Health Care Professionals (559/1994). Good oral and satisfactory written skills in both national languages of the country. The selected person must have valid vaccination protection in accordance with Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act (1227/2016). Additionally, the selected person must present an extract from the criminal record as referred to in Section 6, subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act. A probationary period will be applied.
