We are recruiting for four sterilization technician positions in Service Area 4 for a temporary period from 31 August to 30 October 2026, with immediate start once a suitable candidate is found. The role is two-shift, Monday to Sunday. The Service Area 4 covers four operating areas: New Children’s Hospital, Park Hospital, Women’s Clinic and Tammi Hospital. Work environments include hospital operating theatres and the obstetric units and clinics at the Women’s Clinic. Initial placement will be based on the candidate’s skills, experience and fit for the role. Duties include maintenance of equipment and instruments used in patient care, including cleaning, disinfection, and packaging, as well as other tasks related to instrument maintenance. Aseptic technique and patient safety are paramount. The work schedule follows routines but varies by task. The job is shift work in two shifts, Monday to Sunday.
