Logistics Specialist

ABB Oy is looking for a motivated and proactive Logistics Specialist to join their professional team in Vaasa. In this role, you will manage diverse inbound and outbound logistics processes within a supportive work community. You will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing freight to ensure timely deliveries, working closely with transport partners and internal stakeholders in an international environment. Key responsibilities include coordinating international shipments using the SAP ERP system, selecting the best transport companies based on contracts, and applying Incoterms to delivery processes. You will produce necessary trade and customs documents considering payment terms and destination country requirements. The role involves daily cooperation with freight and transport partners, ensuring the smoothness of logistics processes, and managing deviations. Candidates should have experience in similar roles within a global environment and a degree in international trade or logistics. Fluency in Finnish and English is required. The ideal candidate is proactive, flexible, responsible, and development-oriented, with a systematic way of working and the ability to handle multiple simultaneous tasks. This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term assignment with a possibility of extension.
