We are currently seeking a health centre dentist for a permanent position in the Keuruu region (Keuruu and Petäjävesi). Keuruu is located approximately 60 km from Jyväskylä. Additionally, Keuruu is centrally located relative to Mänttä, Virrat, and Ähtäri. As a dentist in the Central Finland wellbeing services county, you will be part of a community of over 300 professionals working together to promote the oral health of the region's population—from infants to the elderly. Our workplaces range from the larger dental clinics in Jyväskylä to smaller rural units. Your primary workplace will be the Keuruu dental clinic, which is part of the social and health centre. We have nine treatment rooms at our disposal. The dentist's job description is diverse, serving patients of all ages. Consulting with colleagues is easy, and referral practices for specialized care and tertiary care are functional. We use the Lifecare patient information system. A career-step salary system is used for remuneration. The basic salary starts at €4,684.63 per month for a recent graduate, in addition to which procedure fees according to the physician's agreement are paid. The town of Keuruu has approximately 9,100 residents. Keuruu combines the peace of the countryside with urban services. The applicant is expected to have good community and interaction skills, as well as versatile and fluent proficiency in basic clinical work. Experience in treating patients of different ages and professional continuing education are considered an advantage. Additionally, we require sufficient oral and written proficiency in Finnish for the position. The terms of employment are determined according to the collective agreement for doctors. A probationary period applies to the employment relationship. We require suitability according to Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act (chickenpox and measles).
