We are now looking for an Quality Assurance/Control Engineer to ValueSource team to work at our customer in project manufacturing industry in Espoo. In this position you: - act as Project Quality Assurance/Control Engineer on selected projects ensuring the quality assurance and quality control of the projects - create project quality execution plan, equipment QA/QC specification and manufacturing specifications based on the contract and deviation list - ensure that required customer´s quality procedures are suitable for the purpose and use for which they are intended - review and approve supplier´s inspection and test plans (ITP), QA/QC documents and manufacturing procedures such as, WPS/PQR, welder certificates, NDT procedures - follow that required documents has been received from supplier - follow the approval process, review and approve the supplier and sub-suppliers´ quality documents - manage, coordinate, plan and execute customer´s, third party and customer quality inspections - report inspections - assist product managers in creating product specific quality requirements for supplies - identify possible nonconformities - create quality notifications in SAP - coordinate the management of supplier nonconformities - analyze the root cause analysis results together with the project team - analyze the effectiveness and implementation of the corrective actions together with the project team - perform specified trainings on customer´s quality requirements for internal project resources and external quality inspectors To succeed, you will need: - a Bachelor´s or Master´s degree in material or mechanical engineering or an equivalent education - earlier work experience in quality assurance and control in technical industry environment - profound knowledge on quality processes and practices - investigative capability into products and processes - strong ability in problem solving and performing root cause analysis - good planning and organizing skills - excellent team working skills - goal- and success oriented thinking and acting, driving for results - fluent spoken and written English skills, other language skills would be an asset - welding documentation (WPS, WPQR, WPQ), NDT-procedures and coating procedures knowledge - IWS, IWT, IWE, IWI, CWI, Frosio Level III, Nace level II/III education/certification would be an advantage - knowledge on the European international, ASME and AWS standards would be an advantage - this position requires occasional domestic and international travelling (might be eg. up to 30% of working time occasionally) This position is full time and at customer location in Espoo.
