Patria is seeking a Logistics Manager for its Defence and Weapon Systems business in Hämeenlinna. In this new role, you will be responsible for the efficient, safe, and cost-effective management of warehouse operations, ensuring that product reception, storage, picking, packing, and deliveries are handled with quality and timeliness. The role combines daily operational management, personnel leadership, and the development of operations to support production needs. Key responsibilities include planning, organizing, and supervising warehouse activities, supporting warehouse staff, and ensuring smooth material flows between production and the warehouse. You will manage inventory accuracy, plan and execute stocktakes, analyze deviations, monitor turnover rates and storage costs, and ensure compliance with occupational safety regulations. The role requires a proactive leader who can take overall responsibility for warehouse operations and drive improvements in efficiency, quality, and safety. Candidates should have a relevant degree in logistics, production economics, or a similar field, along with proven experience in managing warehouse or logistics operations and personnel leadership. Proficiency in Finnish is essential, and English is required for understanding materials and documentation. The ideal candidate is a practical, hands-on leader who can balance operational tasks with a strategic view of the overall process.
