Field Service Technician – We are looking for a Field Service Technician to join our winning team. Our corporate U.S. headquarters is in Cincinnati, Ohio, however this position can be based anywhere in the U.S. You will travel extensively to take care of mechanical and electrical equipment needs, troubleshoot, repair and recommend future maintenance at customer locations throughout the U.S., Canada and Mexico. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary customer support contact to diagnose and execute repairs at the customer’s site. Maintain a high level of customer service. Build internal/external customer and vendor relationships to ensure a teamwork driven environment. Work closely with the other departments: Technical Support, Installation, Software, Sales, Training departments. Provides on-site and in-house customer service, occasionally remotely. Travels to customer sites; locally and as required, out-of-state to support customers. Performs pre-sale technical sales support to sales team & customer. Attends and participates in sales, service, company, and customer meetings as requested. Responsible for maintaining current technical, interpersonal, and communication skills through continuous development. Based on business need, assists, supports and/or performs other duties within scope and ability. Assumes accountability and responsibility for assigned projects and programs. MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: A minimum of a 4-year college degree in engineering or a related field is required. Experience with technical contexts and knowledge in fields of electrics, mechanics, pneumatics and or hydraulics are highly beneficial. Experience in or interest in sales, purchasing, logistics and development work is required. SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED: Ability to travel extensively in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico; must have a valid U.S. passport. Strong CNC Mechanical and Electrical knowledge. The ability to understand mechanical drawings and electrical prints. Demonstrated experience in complex machine automation and solutions.
