SAP Data Consultant

We are seeking university students in the final stages of their studies, preferably graduating within one year to fill our vacant SAP Data Consultant Trainee position at IBM Consulting. Weekly working hours are limited to 30 to enable you to finalize your studies. Contract duration is 6-12 months depending on your individual schedule. The employment start date can be flexibly agreed upon. Your role and responsibilities As a data consultant trainee you execute different assignments for IBM's customers and serve as an expert in data related topics working directly in customer facing roles. You will perform data related assignments focusing on one main business process such as production planning, warehouse management, supply chain management or finance depending on your academic and professional background. Required education Bachelor's Degree Preferred education Master's Degree Required technical and professional expertise The ideal candidate has a basic understanding of SAP data-related solutions, such as SAP S/4HANA, and an interest in utilizing data to support clients’ business needs across different process areas. The candidate is interested in solution design and configuration that enables clear, maintainable, and scalable data structures, as well as high-quality reporting and analytics. The candidate has experience from one related business process, such as finance, warehouse management, supply chain management, or production planning from academic and professional context. In addition, the candidate has a basic awareness of modern technologies and tools used in data management, integrations, reporting, and solution implementation. Proficiency in both English and Finnish is mandatory. Most importantly, the ideal candidate has a positive attitude, the courage to take on new challenges, and enthusiasm for information systems and client-facing business consulting. Preferred technical and professional experience Preferred requirements include strong business process understanding within a relevant a relevant business process and SAP module. Requirements also include the ability to apply real-life business knowledge in a consulting context, ongoing master’s studies in a relevant field, and interest in working in international and multicultural environments.
