Social Pedagogue in Early Childhood and Care

In this role, you will work as a qualified Social Pedagogue in the Myllyoja day care center, contributing to a child-friendly environment and a culture of safety, inclusion, and learning. Key duties include being responsible for the upbringing and well-being of children, contributing to pedagogy in both the group and the unit, promoting social well-being and inclusion, creating a healthy and safe learning environment, supporting peer relationships and parental cooperation, and collaborating in multi-professional teamwork. The position requires a social welfare and health degree with the appropriate studies in early childhood education and social pedagogy (60 credits) or a social pedagogue degree with the specified studies. You must have strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in teams and with a development mindset. The salary is formed according to a tiered pay system and levels of skill and responsibility, between €2,866.22 and €2,961.73 per month, and may include additional allowances under KVTES. A criminal background check is required before employment, and a health protection check for respiratory TB is required. The position includes a six-month probation.
