Production Engineer

F-35 front fuselage assembly has started and we need more expertise and personnel for the plant's production. You will get to build something new in an international environment and secure Finland's security of supply. We are looking for a Production Engineer to support growing production in the daily guidance of F35 production operations at the Halli assembly plant. Your job description includes building and improving the prerequisites for work. You will lead continuous improvement measures at a practical level in production. Additionally, you will participate in the monitoring and development of production, occupational safety, and quality with the rest of the team. Your daily tasks are: - Production disturbance management - Practical development measures - Analyzing root causes that slow down production - Support for cooperation between production stakeholders. What kind of expert are we looking for? You have several years of experience in operational leadership positions and industrial assembly is familiar to you. You understand production processes and can choose the best possible working methods and work order in the different stages of assembly. You have excellent interaction skills and are able to cooperate smoothly with all production-related stakeholders. You are efficient and also motivate others to work effectively while maintaining an encouraging working atmosphere. We require from the selected person: - University degree and experience from industry, preferably assembly work - Experience in using information systems (e.g. MS Office, PDM, ERP) - Ability to read technical drawings - Systematic approach and organizational skills - Desire to take on new challenges - Good ability to work under pressure - Desire to develop the community's operations and occupational safety - Fluent oral and written skills in English and Finnish The assembly project that started during the current year offers a stable order base far into the future as well as professional opportunities to develop.
