This goal is achieved by working together. We are looking for an Early Childhood Education Childcare Worker for Pilke Sävelpolku daycare in Mikkeli. This position is for you if you want to utilize your expertise, develop and brainstorm new ideas, and leave your own personal mark on creating a good day for the children and your colleagues. Work begins in August 2026. Pilke Sävelpolku music daycare opened in Poikolanrinne, Tupala, in August 2018. We offer high-quality early childhood education and pre-primary education in a warm and safe environment. Every child is met as an individual – gently and respectfully. Our day includes both fast-paced activities and leisurely moments. We play, explore, and discover together. An adult's embrace and support are always close by. Music is a natural part of our everyday life. It brings rhythm to the day, evokes emotions, and supports the child's learning in many ways. Children's daily activities include: - singing and nursery rhymes - playing instruments and various rhythms - moving and dancing to music - improvisation Our goal is to provide experiences of success and inspire children to find their own way of experiencing and making music. We hope for a strong pedagogical approach, a positive and active attitude, good interaction skills, and the ability to meet children authentically. Our way of working is solution-oriented, and we encourage trying new things. In Pilke's daycares, work is divided among the adults working with the children so that everyone has time to focus on their own work and do it as well as possible. Requirements The qualification requirement is a suitable vocational qualification in social and health care (childhood educator or practical nurse including the training program for the care and education of children and youth) or another equivalent degree, e.g., childcare worker or daycare teacher. The selected person must present a criminal record extract required for those working with children in accordance with Section 6, subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act (770/1993).
