**Do you want to play a key role in a growing Finnish company, ensuring that our production operates efficiently, with high quality, and in accordance with our customer promises? As our current production planner is retiring, we are looking for a new person to be responsible for the planning and development of production at the Rauma plant.** As a Production Planner, you will be responsible for production planning and ensuring smooth production in cooperation with production, procurement, logistics, product development, and sales. In this role, you will participate in the development of production and ensure the efficient use of resources in changing situations. Your supervisor will be the Production Manager. In your central role, you will influence delivery reliability, production efficiency, and customer satisfaction, supporting the growth of our business. **Your Responsibilities** - Production planning for the Rauma plant (rough and detailed planning) and production scheduling to ensure optimal use of production capacity and resources, both on a daily and long-term basis. - Coordinating production scheduling, capacity, and resources to ensure high delivery reliability. - Ensuring the availability of raw materials in cooperation with procurement. - Monitoring production performance, reporting metrics, and analyzing production targets. - Serving as a key user for production control and production systems, and guiding production staff in the use of these systems. - Creating and maintaining production instructions in cooperation with the production manager. - Reacting to exceptional situations and ensuring production continuity in changing circumstances. - Proposing solutions and improvements related to production development in cooperation with the production manager and the rest of the organization. - Working closely with production, procurement, product development, maintenance, warehouse, sales, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth production. **What we expect from you?** - Suitable technical, production economics, or other relevant education. - Experience in production and production planning within the process, food, or discrete manufacturing industries. - Experience in using production control systems. - Ability to manage overall processes and make decisions in changing situations. - An analytical and systematic approach to work. - Good cooperation and interaction skills. - Fluent skills in Finnish and English. - Experience in other manufacturing processes in addition to production planning, such as product development, test runs, knowledge of raw materials, quality management, or production development projects, will be considered an advantage.
