We are seeking a childcare worker for the Miinanhelmi kindergarten in Mänttä-Vilppula's early childhood education. We value a positive and child-centered approach, as well as the ability to implement high-quality early childhood education from an inclusion perspective. Your skills in craft and art subjects are evident in your work with children. Your expertise in digital pedagogy provides a strong foundation for your work within the team. You can bring your own views constructively and with respect for others' work. You are a good team player with strong interaction skills with both children and adults. Additionally, your professional and positive approach is reflected in your cooperation with guardians. The early childhood education childcare worker also administers necessary medication to the child during the early childhood education day (Early Childhood Education Act 540/2018 sections 15 a and b). Professional further training (e.g., Implementing Pedagogical Operating Culture in Early Childhood Education (Peitto) or Nepsy) and a medication permit are considered an advantage. We value expertise in speech-supporting and alternative communication methods. In addition to your own team and colleagues, your work is supported by the kindergarten director and the early childhood education special education teacher. You will become part of a professional team and work community. Applications are processed during the application period. Eligibility: Eligibility according to the Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018). A vocational qualification in education and guidance, a vocational qualification in social and health care, or another equivalent degree suitable for the position, e.g., childcare worker, daycare worker, and practical nurse (education program for the care and education of children and youth). Before accepting the position, the selected person must present a criminal record extract in accordance with the Act on the Checking of the Criminal Background of Persons Working with Children (504/2002) as well as original study and work certificates.
