Registered Nurse

We are seeking a registered nurse for a permanent position at Hilma, a 24-hour service housing unit for the elderly in Kokemäki. Hilma has 51 resident places. Our operations are based on the residents' own resources as well as individual and holistic nursing care until the end of life. Our goal is to provide each resident with a life that suits them and to support their daily functioning and social relationships. As a registered nurse, you will act as a team expert and actively participate in the care of residents. Your work includes a diverse range of basic and specialized nursing, medication administration, and nursing procedures. You will be responsible for the overall care of clients—planning, implementation, and evaluation—with a rehabilitative approach, and you will utilize the RAI system in your work. You will guide and support other nursing staff and be responsible for the planning, implementation, and development of medication therapy in cooperation with a physician. You will work in close cooperation with clients, relatives, and various stakeholders, and participate in the development of care quality and practices in your unit. The work is primarily a two-shift system. Requirements: - Qualification as a registered nurse as defined in the Act on Health Care Professionals (559/1994) - Valid professional license (Valvira registration) - Fluent oral and written Finnish language skills - Vaccination protection in accordance with the Communicable Diseases Act (Section 48) We value experience or interest in elderly care, good interaction and teamwork skills, as well as an independent and responsible approach to work. The selected candidate must present a criminal record extract in accordance with the law (741/2023, Section 28). The terms of employment and remuneration are determined by the SOTE agreement. Remote work is not possible for this position. Selections are subject to a 6-month probationary period. Original work and degree certificates will be verified from interviewees.
