Come join our competent team to provide high-quality and up-to-date basic education as a teacher of mathematical subjects (Physics 4 hours/week, Chemistry 14 hours/week, and Mathematics 8 hours/week). We are looking for a collaborative, growth-oriented pedagogue with a positive work attitude. The well-being of students and staff, as well as community spirit, are important to us. Our school was founded in 1980 and is located in Klaukkala in the immediate vicinity of sports facilities. Temporary school buildings were put into use after the autumn break in 2024. Approximately 450 lower secondary school students study at our school. We strive to develop the students of Urheilupuisto School into active, responsible young people with healthy self-esteem who care for themselves, others, and their shared environment, and whose lives maintain a good balance between reading, exercise, and rest. Urheilupuisto School provides sports-oriented education and is part of the Urhea network. The school also hosts the Klaukkala regional flexible basic education (JOPO) class. We value excellent interpersonal skills. Eligibility requirements for the position are determined in accordance with Decree No. 986/98 on the eligibility requirements for teaching staff. The terms of employment are determined by the municipal teaching staff's official and collective agreement (OVTES). The selected candidate must provide a criminal record extract in accordance with the Act on the Checking of the Criminal Background of Persons Working with Children (504/2002).
