Practical Nurse

The Ostrobothnia Wellbeing Services County is seeking two practical nurses. Initial placement is in resource unit 9. The role is versatile and offers the opportunity to work in various units in Kristiinankaupunki and/or Närpiö. Work may include home care, service housing, or working in the general medical ward in Närpiö. The position requires a Class B driver's license and the possibility of using one's own car. We are looking for a person who enjoys work where tasks vary and where you encounter different clients and work groups. You should be flexible, cooperative, and ready to handle new situations energetically and professionally. Working in the resource unit provides excellent opportunities to develop broad expertise and gain experience in different areas of nursing care. Eligibility requirement: Degree of Practical Nurse or a degree in accordance with the Decree on Healthcare Professionals (564/1994) or the Government Decree on Social Care Professionals (153/2016). Satisfactory oral and written skills in both of the country's national languages. Those with a Practical Nurse degree are required to be registered in both professional registers of the License and Supervision Authority, Terhikki and Suosikki. Additionally, the selected candidate must have valid vaccination protection in accordance with Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act (1227/2016) and a criminal record extract as mentioned in Section 6, subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act. A probationary period applies.
