Class Teacher

The City of Vantaa is seeking a Class Teacher to serve as a music class teacher at Martinlaakso School. Martinlaakso School is a comprehensive school for grades 1-9 with approximately 1,000 students and 130 staff members, operating in a modern facility with up-to-date teaching equipment. The school aims to be pedagogically unified, where class teaching and subject teaching are closely integrated to support a seamless educational path for students. The role involves designing and implementing teaching that accommodates learners of different levels and utilizing diverse teaching methods. The teacher must be committed to the ProKoulu operating model, which focuses on guiding student behavior through positive feedback. Key requirements include multicultural sensitivity, the ability to support students from various linguistic and cultural backgrounds (including S2 needs), and strong interaction skills to build trust with students and guardians. The ideal candidate is flexible, solution-oriented, and interested in the holistic well-being of students.
