We are seeking for our wooden element factory in Hämeenlinna: Wooden Element Designer At the wooden element factory, we design and manufacture large wooden elements and industrial pre-fabrication products for professional builders. The product range includes large elements such as exterior walls, roof elements, fire stops, intermediate floors, warehouses, and noise barriers. As an Element Designer, you will be responsible for preparing element plans, production quality control, and production management. You will also participate in supporting tasks for late-stage procurement. What will help you succeed in this role: You will succeed in this position if you can grasp the big picture and lead work systematically to completion. Strong interaction skills are important in this role, as you will work closely with various stakeholders daily. We expect experience in wooden structure design and a higher education degree in the construction industry (e.g., Construction Engineer or Construction Foreman). We value previous experience in design roles, but you may also be at the beginning of your career. Previous experience in wooden construction is considered an advantage. Familiarity with AutoCAD and ArchiCAD design software is preferred.
