About the role

As the Director, Financial Planning and Analysis, you will play a pivotal role in Nokia's FP&A organization, leading complex financial planning, analysis and performance management initiatives. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing senior-level decision support, developing advanced financial models, and challenging assumptions to drive business success. This role offers an opportunity to directly support the business, as well as shape FP&A practices and continue your development as a finance leader in a dynamic, global environment. Your responsibilities - Lead financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for key business areas, ensuring accurate and timely insights. - Provide strategic decision support to senior leadership, offering financial performance analysis and recommendations. - Develop advanced financial models and scenario analyses to aid leadership in long-range planning. - Challenge business assumptions and connect financial and operational drivers to improve performance. - Own and communicate high-impact management materials, presenting insights to senior stakeholders. - Lead cross-functional collaboration, building strong stakeholder relationships and acting as a trusted FP&A advisor. - Drive continuous improvement and digitalization of FP&A processes, tools, and ways of working. - Champion the adoption of modern FP&A technologies, automation, data visualization, and AI-enabled analytics. - Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations, maintaining high standards of integrity. Your skills and experience Must Have: - Master's degree in finance, or other relevant field. - 7 to 10 years of experience in finance, FP&A, business control, or a similar role. - Proven track record of leading complex financial analysis and planning in a global context. - Strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders. - Proficiency in financial modelling, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving. - Independent, structured leadership style with strong collaboration skills and a global mindset. It would be nice if you have: - Experience with advanced analytics, automation, data visualization, and AI/ML in finance is an asset. - Hands-on approach, combining strategic vision with practical execution and ownership of key deliverables. - Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities. - Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset to build strong cross-functional relationships.
