Civil Engineering Labourer

An experienced civil engineering labourer for municipal infrastructure sites, based in the Helsinki metropolitan area. You will work as part of a skilled crew on civil engineering, water utilities and other infrastructure projects. The role involves contributing to different phases of the worksite and collaborating closely with machine operators and the rest of the team. Tasks include operating on sites with a excavator team, trench preparation and measurement accuracy, assisting with pipe and cable installations, using pipe and level lasers in daily tasks, backfilling, compaction and finishing works, and following project drawings. You will maintain safety and site tidiness. We expect previous experience in earthworks or infrastructure construction, experience in foreman tasks or similar work phases, ability to read work drawings, and a proactive attitude with good physical condition, as well as a valid safety card and a Tyurin (Tieturva) card or willingness to obtain them. Proficiency in Finnish and ability to travel to sites by your own car are required.
