Job Description

Kempele's early childhood education services are recruiting for relief positions for early childhood education special education teachers (2 positions) for the period from September 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027. The positions are located in municipal and private daycares as well as family daycare. Kempele has a total of 7 early childhood education special education teachers. The relief positions are in Kirkonkylä and Sarkkiranta daycares. It is possible to start the positions as agreed, as early as August. The early childhood education special education teacher works in collaboration with early childhood education staff, children, and families. The qualification requirement is the qualification according to section 30 of law 540/2018. We also consider applicants who are in the final stages of their studies to become early childhood education special education teachers. We value experience as an early childhood education teacher, good interaction and cooperation skills, flexibility, positivity, and good teamwork skills. Additionally, we appreciate strong special pedagogical expertise in early childhood education and preschool education, experience in co-teaching, knowledge of play pedagogy, initiative, and the ability to work in educational collaboration with early childhood educators and families. The selected candidate must present a criminal background check in accordance with law 504/2002 before starting work. The salary consists of a level-based pay and a qualification bonus according to OVTES. Additional pay is based on work experience. The terms of employment are determined according to section G of OVTES. A trial period of half the duration of the employment applies.
