Social and health care assistant

We are currently recruiting social and health care assistants for disability care in South Savo on a part-time basis. Your work aims to ensure assistance and support for disabled persons living with their parents or other relatives. Clients may have various communication aids or methods. Short-term care clients may have other physical, cognitive, psychological, social, or sensory impairments caused by disability or long-term illness. Clients may use mobility and other aids and have different needs for assistance to perform daily activities. Work takes place in clients' homes in South Savo. The work can start as early as August 1, 2026. We follow the private social services sector collective agreement. The hourly wage for a practical nurse is g22, depending on experience, 15.09-17.09€/h + 9% holiday pay. Experience working with disabled persons is an advantage. This recruitment process is different from usual, and we will tell you more during the interview. We expect from you: A qualification in social and health care (practical nurse), vaccination against infectious diseases, tuberculosis screening according to the Infectious Diseases Act, LOVe permits (can be obtained through us if needed), good spoken and written Finnish skills, and a criminal record extract from selected applicants.
