Service Worker

We are looking for a new team member - come and do meaningful work in Mäntyharju! We are seeking a service worker for meal and cleaning services for a permanent position. We provide the meal and cleaning services required by municipalities and the wellbeing services county. Cleaning services keep the premises pleasant, safe, and healthy, and meal services produce healthy, enjoyable, and diverse home-cooked food. Our teams consist of multi-skilled professionals whose job descriptions include both meal and cleaning service tasks. The service worker's job is diverse and varied. The work includes maintenance and basic cleaning tasks at the Mäntyharju social and health center, the geriatric ward, and Ruskahovi. Additionally, the duties include meal service tasks, where you will handle food serving, dishware maintenance, and kitchen cleanliness. The ability to use your own car is considered an advantage. The work may also involve working in other Järvi-Saimaan Palvelut units, for example, in Pertunmaa or Ristiinsaari. The position is permanent and full-time. Shifts are mainly between 7:00 and 19:30, and the work also includes weekends. The start date is as soon as possible by agreement. Experience in meal or cleaning services is an advantage, but we always provide orientation for new personnel. We are looking for a person with a proactive attitude and sufficient Finnish language skills. Salary is determined according to the selected person's education and experience. We follow the YTES collective agreement. Before accepting the position, the selected person must present an acceptable medical certificate of health and a satisfactory drug test. We are a smoke-free workplace. The employment relationship includes a 6-month probationary period.
