We are seeking a Planning Manager for the HUS Group's Readiness Centre to guide and develop social and health care readiness and emergency planning. The Readiness Centre serves as the readiness hub for the Southern Finland cooperation area’s social and health care readiness and reports situation pictures to the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health together with other readiness centres. The role involves designing, directing and developing HUS Group readiness planning and situational readiness solutions, creating structures and processes that support the region’s readiness and preparedness development, and supporting the hospitals and support functions in readiness planning, training, and exercises. The successful candidate will need strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, and capacity to manage and analyze complex topics. Start date is 1 October 2026 or by agreement. Salary is 6389.78 €/month, with possible experience-based additions. The applicant should have an appropriate higher education degree and relevant experience in readiness and emergency planning, knowledge of the statutory framework on preparedness, and the ability to work with authorities. Proficiency in Finnish and good Swedish are required; good English is an asset. A background check will be conducted.
