About the role

The Regional MIS Specialist will serve as the central hub for data governance and business intelligence across multiple countries in the South Asia region. This role is critical for transitioning our reporting capabilities from traditional manual data entry to a sophisticated, data-science-driven analytical framework. The specialist will provide actionable insights to regional leadership by collating operational and financial metrics, designing automated dashboards, and driving the monthly business review process. 1. Data Governance & Consolidation Establish and maintain standardized data collection protocols across multiple country operations. Consolidate complex datasets including sales growth, Headcount and operational efficiency metrics for each product technologies and sites and countries. Ensure data integrity and accuracy Serving as the subject matter expert for regional data extraction. Benchmarking across the sites. Capex and Opex management across the sites. 2. Business Intelligence & Dashboards Develop and maintain dynamic dashboards using tools such as PowerBI, Looker studio, google tools to track KPIs in real-time. Move away from static reporting to predictive modeling, utilizing a background in Data Science to identify trends before they impact operations. Design custom visualizations for specific business needs, such as tracking "Service, HC" conversions and sales vs. AOP performance. 3. Review Management & Executive Support Coordinate regional review meetings, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on data submissions. Generate high-impact executive presentation decks that synthesize complex metrics into strategic insights. Facilitate "Deep Dive" sessions on specific operational gaps, such as quality engineering performance or SCM planning efficiency. 4. Process Optimization Act as a bridge between the Shop floor, SCM, and Finance to automate the information flow. Replace manual data preparation daily tasks with automated scripts and workflows. Usage of AI to simplify the actions for the country level teams. Qualifications Educational Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Finance, or Engineering. Advanced certifications in Business Intelligence (PowerBI, Tableau) or Data Analytics are highly preferred. Experience 5-7 years of experience in an MIS or Data Analyst role within a manufacturing or regional supply chain environment. Proven track record of managing multi-country data consolidation. Experience in working with senior leadership teams and leadership meetings. Experience working in a fast paced dynamic environment. Technical Skills Analytics: Advanced SQL, Python and predictive modeling. Visualization: Expert level in PowerBI or Google Looker Studio. Productivity: Master of MS Excel (Power Query, VBA) and PowerPoint for executive-level storytelling. Competencies Analytical Rigor: Ability to find the "story" behind the numbers. Stakeholder Management: Comfortable interacting with country heads, department heads, and regional & global stakeholders. Agility: Capable of working under tight deadlines for month-end and quarterly reviews. Quick learning capability and adaptability.
