Our customer satisfaction is demonstrably excellent, and we are especially praised for our expertise, delivery reliability and extensive stock selection. Learn more about our company at www.vuorenmaa.fi. We are looking for a Buyer for Vuorenmaa Yhtiöt' purchasing team at the company's main office in Lapua. What would you do with us? As a Buyer, you will be responsible for purchasing technical components and placing orders with domestic and international suppliers. In addition to purchasing, your work includes tasks related to product and inventory management. You will contribute to product availability, maintaining stock levels and ensuring the smooth operation of the supply chain. You will work closely with sales, product groups and suppliers. You will take purchasing responsibility for your own suppliers and work with them as part of a product-group team. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to developing purchasing operations, competitive tendering of suppliers and identifying new suppliers. You will have effective systems, established operating models and modern processes to support your work. Flexible remote work is possible in this role. What do we expect? We are looking for a proactive, collaborative and productive person who takes initiative and sees things through purposefully. You enjoy varied purchasing tasks, while also handling routine duties carefully and responsibly. We hope you have fluent Finnish and English, as you will communicate daily with domestic and international suppliers. We value a customer-service-oriented approach and the ability to collaborate smoothly with sales and other stakeholders. You have a suitable technical or commercial education and a few years of experience in successful purchasing work. Experience in inventory management and supplier collaboration is also valued. Success in the role requires you to make effective use of Excel at work and to master features beyond its basic functions. What do we offer? Vuorenmaa Yhtiöt is a growing and modern family business with long traditions in technical wholesale. You will work in an encouraging and people-oriented community that continuously seeks to develop its operations and do things in new ways. We offer permanent, full-time employment and comprehensive onboarding. You will be supported by a skilled team and close colleagues, helping you quickly become part of the work community and succeed in your work. We look after our employees' well-being by providing extensive occupational healthcare, sports and culture benefits, and other employee benefits. We also invest in training opportunities and skills development. Welcome to a well-regarded and growing family business where employees enjoy their work and can influence it. Application process: Send your application as soon as possible, but no later than Sunday 25 October 2026. We will start interviews during the application period, and the position will be filled as soon as a suitable person is found. Recruitment is carried out in cooperation with Biisoni.
